Former 'Produce 48' contestant Chiba Erii to appear as a K-Pop exchange student on new Mnet reality show!

According to reports on April 9, former 'Produce 48' contestant and AKB48 member Chiba Erii will be appearing on a new Mnet reality show!

The idol will allegedly join the cast of Mnet's upcoming 'U-Hak SoNyeo: Ticket To K-Pop' as a Japanese exchange student, alongside 9 other female students from all around the world who dream of traveling to Korea to experience the Hallyu culture they love in person.

Reports say that the female exchange students of 'U-Hak SoNyeo: Ticket To K-Pop' began their dorm life on this day (April 9), ahead of the program's premiere some time this May.

i would love to see shitao miu instead~ i think miu has a lot of potential in kpop seeing how her lives garnered so much attention. but i foresee erii will be entertaining to watch lol.

I think it's cool to see Japanese idols coming out on Korean television. Though I wish that it was a different kind of program Erii was casted in than this. Maybe a bigger program like Carefree Travelers with other PD48 contestants like Goto Moe and Miu.

I want to Goto Moe, Shitao Miu, and Shiroma Miru come out as well on Korean television one day soon. They seem to have a lot of interest in Korea, especially Moe and Miu. Moe has stated on a live with Miu that if there was another PD48 like program that she would participate again without hesitation.
