Black Pink announce 'Kill This Love Dance Cover Contest' with over $26,000 in prize money

BLINKs, get ready to bring your moves out for the 'Kill This Love Dance Cover Contest'!

From April 15 to April 30, fans can enter the dance cover contest hosted by YG Entertainment and KIA. The total prize money of 30 million KRW (26,453 USD) will be distributed to 3 winning groups - Grand Prize of 20 million KRW (17,637 USD), Second Prize of 6 million KRW (5,290 USD), and Third Prize of 4 million KRW (3,526 USD). 

The cover dance videos to Black Pink's latest hit "Kill This Love" are to be posted on YouTube and Instagram. The winning teams will be selected by YG evaluation (50%) and YouTube views (50%).

It would be much better if they just spend that money in paying taxes or in processing legalization of their building expansion.

their song was just released not so long ago, is that type of promotion really necessary?

unless they think that would attract more fans even if it's just for the money or something

it just sounds off, why not simply ask for people to dance thanks to the hype and not simply for the money?

are they trying to cast new people that way(?)
