JTBC to follow up 'SKY Castle' with new social issue drama criticizing school violence, 'A Beautiful World'

JTBC will be following up the wild success of its satirical social commentary drama 'SKY Castle' with 'A Beautiful World', coming this April 5.

'A Beautiful World' deals with Korea's long history of issues in school violence. The story revolves around a family whose son is driven to the edge of sanity as a result of school violence; the family decides to fight back and uncover the truth behind what their son had to suffer.

Actor Park Hee Soon and actress Choo Ja Hyun play the roles of a set of parents, whose middle school son incurs life-threatening injuries as a victim of school violence. Child actors Nam Da Reum and Kim Hwan Hee each play Park Hee Soon and Choo Ja Hyun's two children - Nam Da Reum as the victim of severe school violence as a 3rd year in middle school, and Kim Hwan Hee as his younger sister, with a protective tendency over her brother.

Actor Oh Man Suk and actress Jo Yeo Jung join the cast as the parents of a son who is a habitual school bully.

Ahead of 'A Beautiful World's premiere in April, JTBC has revealed the drama's official poster starring the kind siblings Sun Ho (played by Nam Da Reum) and Su Ho (played by Kim Hwan Hee). A thought from the younger sibling Su Ho reads, "I want to go back to the days when oppa used to smile."
