7 Fan-Favorite Idol Friendships and Squads

K-Pop idols lead extremely busy lives. Whether it's practicing for a comeback, promoting a new song, or attending and performing at a number of award shows, variety shows, and concerts, idols are always kept busy and seem to have very little time for personal matters! Luckily, this doesn't discourage idols from creating lasting friendships with their fellow celebrities who have similar interests or are of the same age. These idols form squads that come together make up the K-Pop fandom's favorite inter-group friendships. Here are 7 fan-favorite idol friendships and squads:

Team English

Team English consists of K-Pop idols like Amber, Eric Nam, and U-Kiss Kevin Wu. These English speaking idols love using Twitter as their main platform to communicate with their fans and each other! Other idols of Team English include former miss A member Min and former Royal Pirate member James. Many of these idols grew up in an English-speaking country and have great language skills!

92 Line

The 92 Line consists of idols like MAMAMOO Moonbyul, BTS Jin, and EXID Hani. On one episode of 'Weekly Idol,' Moonbyul said that the 92 line across groups is so close that they even have a group chat. Hani and Moonbyul have called each other on multiple live show occasions and VIXX Ken and Jin hang out frequently. These 92 line friends are close-knit!

Taemin's Friendship Parka Squad

On a V-LIVE, Taemin said he wanted to order customized parkas for him and his friends! Those friends ended up being EXO's Kai, BTS Jimin, Ha Sung Woon, and HOTSHOT Timotheo. Taemin and his squad of ultra handsome, super talented idols are the warmest idol squad there is!

The Thai Idols

BLACKPINK's Lisa recently revealed that many of the Thai idols are close to each other and frequently communicate through a group chat! Lisa stated how close she was to CLC's Sorn, 2PM's Nickhun, and GOT7's BamBam. These idols represent the multicultural aspect of K-Pop and are always greeted with warm welcomes when returning to Thailand!

Love to Hate Us Squad

Idols like Ga-In, Sulli, and Hara are known to be troublesome as they are constantly at the crux of a lot of drama! Whether it's being criticized for appearances or simply for looking like they're having too good of a time, these idols never let the press and rumors get in the way of their friendship. The friends have sleepovers and take international trips together despite the internet hate that always seems to be bubbling over the horizon.

Shy 91 Line

A PINK's Chorong and BTOB's Changsub are responsible for starting the friendship among the shy 91ers! These two idols were never close to idols from other groups, but eventually INFINITE's Hoya joined the mix. Later on, B1A4's Jinyoung and MAMAMOO's Solar rounded out the group. This group of introverts seemed to take a liking to each other and are frequently in touch!

Rowdy 97 Line

This group of boisterous young men consists of BTS' Jungkook, NCT's Jaehyun, GOT7's Yugyeom and BamBam, SEVENTEEN's Mingyu, Minghao, DK, and ASTRO's Eunwoo! This group is one of the most vocal squads in K-Pop. They frequently encourage each other and promote their respective groups and solo projects. This squad isn't afraid to go public with their friendship either judging by their bowling outings and silly Instagram tags. They even put each other in the "Thank You" notes in the end of their albums! Not to mention, the group chat they're probably all blowing up non-stop!
