On February 21, Psy appeared on HyunA's Instagram live. The singer looked thinner than usual. To this, netizens jokingly said, "It's opposite for Psy. He loses weight during his hiatus and gains it back when he's promoting."

A day later, Psy shared a screenshot of a post, stating, "Psy failed at self-management. Look at him losing weight because he's on a hiatus." Psy humorously responded, "I will start taking care of myself again," and assured fans he will be gaining his weight back. 

Netizens played along, commenting, "How could you lose weight... This is too much," "I'm so disappointed," "Please take care of yourself. This ain't it."
