EXO Kai and BLACKPINK Jennie will continue to actively promote as singers.

On the afternoon of the 25th, Jennie and Kai became the focus of the public once again when rumors of their break-up surfaced. Soon after, SM Entertainment, Kai's management company confirmed that "it's true."

Earlier on the pair received a lot of attention when the dating rumors first surfaced. At the time SM spoke up to confirm that the pair had a close senior-junior relationship and that "they're in a good relationship with each other."

For a month, Kai and Jennie became the focus of public discussions and rumors, receiving a great deal of attention and therefore decided to go their separate ways to focus on their careers as singers. Kai will probably continue acting and focus on releasing his solo album. Jennie will be touring with her group BLACKPINK as they will be holding concerts in Bangkok, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Manila, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, North America, Europe and Australia.

In addition, BLACKPINK signed with Universal Music back in October 2018 and are planning their American debut.

Their fans are actively supporting them even though things are a bit awkward with the recent news. For the time being, they will put their private life aside and focus on their careers.
