Changsub reacted to the idea of Sungjae taking the leader position in BTOB.

On the January 8 airing of MBC Every1's 'Video Star,' Changsub shared Minhyuk became the temporary leader after Eungkwang enlisted in the military. The temporary leader position will open up again when Minhyuk enlists this year. Hearing this, MC Park So Hyun asked, "How about having maknae Sungjae become the new leader?"

Changsub strongly denied the suggestion and said, "We will be in trouble if he becomes the leader." He explained, "Sungjae's color is too clear. He will end up coloring others," and stated the leader needs to be a person who can be a middleman.
