On October 8, Soyu made a guest appearance on KBS Cool FM radio program, 'Lee Soo Ji's Gayo Plaza'.

During the radio talk, Soyu mentioned her friend SHINee's Key, and shared, "Among all my male friends, Key is my closest. I have more male friends than female friends."
Who are some of Soyu's few close female friends? The singer answered, "There weren't very many female friends who were around my age among my generation of girl groups. Just a few, like Seohyun, Nicole, and miss A's Min. I live close by Key's house, so we've been hanging out a lot recently too."
