Koo Jun Hoe spoke up about his social media controversy.
On October 1, iKON held a press conference for their new EP 'New Kids: The Final' at CGV in Seoul. Prior to introducing the new album, Koo Jun Hoe mentioned his recent controversy and delivered an apology.
He stated, "I am so apologetic to my fans because I feel like I've greatly disappointed them. I'm deeply reflecting on my actions," and added, "I will make sure such an incident doesn't occur again. I will always promote with a grateful mind without forgetting the preciousness and gratefulness of my fans. I will show a good side of me."
When asked about how Yang Hung Suk reacted to the issue, Koo Jun Hoe said, "I apologized to my members and I told hwajaengnim that I'm ashamed. He told me to be especially more cautious and continue reflecting on my actions."
Leader B.I. also shared, "Jun Hoe felt sorry to us so we tried to encourage him rather than criticizing. We hoped Jun Hoe will be able to grow (through this issue) and we told him to reflect."
