On September 6, YG Entertainment released an official statement to news outlets, confirming that Sechskies member Eun Ji Won's father has passed away.

"The father of our label artist, Sechskies's Eun Ji Won, passed away on September 5. As per the family's request, the funeral will take place quietly and privately. Eun Ji Won is currently by his father's side, overseeing his final passage. The procession will take place on September 7.
We humbly pray that he will rest in peace."
