On September 13, Momoland's label MLD Entertainment confirmed news of Nayun's return to promotions.
MLD stated, "Nayun, who halted her promotions after being diagnosed with otolithiasis (or vertigo), has returned to her team after recovering her health. Recently, Nayun participated in Momoland's Japanese album jacket photos and MV filming, and she'll begin her official group promotions with the group in Korea in October."
Nayun, who experienced bouts of dizziness back in July, decided to take a break from promotions shortly after her otolithiasis diagnosis. She'll be making her return after a 3-month hiatus.
