H.O.T
H.O.T has been wrapped up in copyright issues.

The name 'H.O.T' belongs to 'A', who used to be at SM Entertainment and was in charge of producing the group and casting each member. 'A' currently holds the copyrights and service rights to the name 'H.O.T'.

'A' has currently submitted a certification of contents to Salt Innovation, the sponsors to H.O.T's upcoming concert. The certification is on a request to stop copyright infringement and demanding to get permission instead.

'A' said, "If the performance is to give back to society or for public purposes, I agree that the copyrights should be used for free. However, if it is for profit, you should propose a royalty that fits with international standards."

It's been reported that 'A' had continuously tried to work things out with Salt Innovation, but they failed to reach an agreement.
