On September 16, the earnings of afreeca TV BJs were revealed in online communities.
The afreeca TV BJs make money through live online streaming and receiving "star balloons" (similar to Twitch's bits) from the viewers. Each "star balloon" is equivalent to 110 KRW (0.10 USD).The BJs are able to take home around 70% after splitting the earnings with afreeca TV.
According to the data, Ellin earned nearly 200 million KRW (177,936 USD) in just 5 months as an online streamer. This makes her the BJ with the 3rd highest earnings on afreeca TV.
Ellin made her afreeca TV BJ debut back in April.
