Seohyun explained why she gave up makeup for 'Time'.
On July 20, the actors of the new drama attended the press conference at MBC building in Mapo-gu.
Seohyun described her character, stating, "My character Seol Ji Hyun has a great responsibility for her life and family. She's a character that holds on to her dreams and works hard every moment despite growing up in a difficult, poor environment."
For the reason why she didn't wear much makeup for the role, Seohyun explained, "Because she's a character who struggles with life," and added, "She tries to survive and she doesn't have time to take care of herself. She's a character that lives day by day and I wanted to portray her realistically so I talked with the director, and I might look a bit ugly but that's how I'll show (with no makeup)."
Meanwhile, the first episode of 'Time' is scheduled to air on July 25.
