At the press conference for his film 'Illang: The Wolf Brigade' on July 24, Kang Dong Won revealed, "'Tsunami LA' starts filming in September. To be honest, it should've started filming by now if things went according to plan, but it's turned out this way. I think it'll start filming in September."

He continued, "It's not simple to prepare for a foreign project and not be able to attend to a Korean project for months. I feel like it's unbelievable that I'll be speaking in a second language as well. I go and do the best I can, but sometimes I think, 'I've done something really impossible.' I also think about how I would've lived well if I had just done what I usually do as well, but I don't like doing that either. I have to try."

Kang Dong Won further shared, "When I'm in America, I have a lot of thoughts. I drive around by myself a lot. I take acting classes, and then I meet my language teacher. That's when this thought came to mind. When I get older, I won't have any regrets. I might fail, but I won't have regrets. I thought it would just be fun, but it's not just fun and it's really tiring. I think about whether I'll survive. In America, I'm a new actor."

In other news, 'Illang: The Wolf Brigade' is premiering on July 25.
