BTS's 'Love Yourself - Tear' is the first ever Million certified album since the launch of Gaon's new certification system

On July 12, Gaon Chart released its monthly chart rankings for the month of June. 

In the Gaon Certification category, only one new addition was announced for album sales. BTS's 3rd full album 'Love Yourself ? - Tear' was certified with the honor of the 'Million' badge, awarded to albums which surpass 1,000,000 copies in sales. The album is the first since the Gaon Certification system's installment to receive a 'Million' badge; previously, Wanna One's '1�?=1 (UNDIVIDED)' received a 'Triple Platinum' badge, while GOT7's 'Eyes On You', NCT's 'NCT 1018 Empathy', EXO-CBX's 'Blooming Days', and TWICE's 'What Is Love?' all received 'Platinum' badges. 

Gaon's Gaon Certification system launched this January 1, 2018, and records album sales, song downloads, and song streams of music released after January 1 of this year.
