BTS' BT21 cartoon characters will join forces with 'Converse' for a new footwear collection!

Eight adorable BT21 characters will be appearing on the canvas of three styles of Chuck Taylor All Stars! Each character was created by each member of the seven-member BTS in collaboration with LINE Friends. The eighth member figure represents their fanbase, ARMY! The shoe line will be launching on July 27 in South Korea, China, and Hong Kong, and August 1 in Taiwan.
The collaboration will be available in black Chuck Taylor All Star Hi Tops and in black and white Chuck Taylor All Star Ox sneakers. All three variants will feature either a colored or black-and-white print featuring the BT21 characters and "UNIVERSTAR BT21", printed on the pair of shoes. In addition, a special limited-edition pack will feature the shoes in collector's boxes that feature BT21 tote bags, unique laces, and more.
This collaboration seems to be a slight throwback to when BTS released their song "Converse High" in their 2016 album, 'The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever.' Converse further stated, "As BT21 has captivated millennials around the globe, Converse introduces an offering that goes beyond simple endorsement."
BT21 also launched a drawing competition in collaboration with the release of the collection, giving fans like you and around the world to submit designs and a chance to win special Converse x BT21 prize packages!
