TWICE's 3rd Japanese original single "Wake Me Up" has been certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan!
Double platinum is awarded to albums which recorded over 500,000 copies in sales. This single marks TWICE's first ever double platinum album, as well as the first time that a foreign girl group has received the certification for a single album. Previously, TWICE received platinum certifications for their best album '#TWICE', as well as for "One More Time" and "Candy Pop".
Meanwhile, TWICE's label recently confirmed that the group is preparing for a domestic comeback some time in July. Congratulations, girls!
