Solbin apologized for her controversial action.
Recently, Solbin received criticism for abruptly ending the V live broadcast to run after Jin and calling out his name without using honorifics. Netizens claimed it was rude of her to end the broadcast in such an abrupt manner when the fans were watching it live. Many were also displeased on the way she addressed Jin who's 5 years older than her.
On June 11, Solbin addressed the issue via Instagram and stated,
"Hello, this is LABOUM's Solbin.
I was so happy to spend the past year and 10 months as the MC of 'Music Bank'. I want to deliver sincere appreciation to those who helped and gave love to my lacking self. I really appreciate it.
Also, I want to apologize to those who were hurt by my careless actions during the V live airing that took place after my last (Music Bank) broadcast. I am sorry.
I will work hard to show a more mature side of me from now on. Thank you."
