JYP Entertainment is creating a full Japanese girl group.
On Thursday, June 21, Sparklabs held their 'Demoday 11' at Coex Conference Hall Auditorium in Seoul. One of the keynote speakers at the event was none other than JYP founder J.Y. Park.
During the talk, J.Y. Park talked about "JYP 2.0" and the thing that stood out the most was the new project that JYP is preparing. J.Y. Park stated, "This new project will be solely Japanese. To help you understand it, basically, it's TWICE with all Japanese girls. Mainly, targeting Japan, and also globally."
J.Y. Park continued, "They will end up debuting in Japan. We prepared this for a very long time and we're expecting to debut them in late next year or early 2020."
