As a result, various reports and rumors started circulating about Lee Seung Wook's sudden leave. In response, Lee Seung Wook personally addressed the issue via his fan cafe on April 6. The actor stated,
"Hello, this is Lee Seung Wook.
The rumors and the reports that are becoming an issue right now, you don't have to worry about them. This is all I can say at the moment. I trust in myself. Everything will work out! So don't worry! The person of the issue is leaving a message like this. I love you all."
Meanwhile, 'Gonjiam' attracted more than 1 million moviegoers in just 5 days.
