Kim So Hyun admits she felt uncomfortable always being compared to Kim Yoo Jung

The two stars of the same age have both started their acting careers as child actresses. As they're walking a similar path, Kim So Hyun and Kim Yoo Jung have often been compared and sometimes even considered rivals.�

In a recent interview with Sports Today, Kim So Hyun admitted, "Honestly, it's true that it felt uncomfortable being compared to Kim Yoo Jung when we were younger." She continued, "Back then, we were compared more often than�now so I wondered, 'Is it because�we're the same age?' or 'Do we have similar looks?' There was also awkwardness�due to the comparison."

However, Kim So Hyun shared that she has overcome the issue. She explained, "Whenever�I hear a comparison of Yoo Jung and me nowadays, I just go, whatever. I don't think much of it. It's not uncomfortable and it doesn't bother me at all."

Kim So Hyun added, "We don't meet often but we ask how each other is time to time. People say we're rivals but we're colleagues. There's this specialness because we're the ones left after promoting together in our younger days. It hurts my feelings when I hear bad news about her time to time. The news of her health issues concerned me as well. I sincerely wish for her to get well and I encourage her."
