The former lead vocalist of girl group Jewelry had to halt promotions as she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She shared her hardship and said, "My voice didn't come out at all after I had surgery for thyroid cancer. I took a break because I unable to sing for 1 or 2 years and my voice condition was just terrible."
She continued, "But thyroid cancers relatively have a good prognosis. I recently saw the news about how Kim Yoo Jung is going through treatment for the same issue. As I have overcome the illness, I want to send encouragement to Kim Yoo Jung."

Onto the next topic, Park Jung Ah was asked if she ever gave advice to label hoobaes VIXX and Gugudan. She replied, "I often hear that Kim Se Jung has similar qualities as me. She happened to guest on my radio show one day so as a person with similar qualities, I shared with her the things I felt and experienced."
She also opened up about her married life, and said, "There's both good and bad in marriage but it's really nice to have someone who's always on my side no matter what."
