Labels of idol groups are scrambling to check their idols' histories.

Recently, an idol 'A' was accused of sexual harassment. While the name was not specified, many netizens have pointed to a specific idol. However, because even anonymous accusations can hurt images, labels are doing their best to look over past histories because pre-debut actions could lead to a #MeToo accusation.

An insider said, "For idols who have been trainees since a young age, there's a high possibility that there's no problem because the labels have been watching over them continuously. However, for idols who only had short trainee periods or stayed at a label for only a short time before debuting, the story changes. There's no way to know their full history, so times like these are uneasy times. If they hide it and say nothing, there's no way to know. Labels are checking their artists to see if anything problematic happened during their school years."

There have been no further accusations or actions on 'A'.
