On January 22, an interview with Jo Jung Suk took place at a cafe in Seoul. Out of the various questions, Jo Jung Suk was asked about his relationship with Gummy. In response to the breakup rumors, Jo Jung Suk replied, "It's totally false. We're doing very well." He continued, "I didn't mention her during my award speech to shut down the rumors but because I truly appreciated the support gives to all of my productions."

When asked about his plans for marriage, Jo Jung Suk said, "I don't have plans for marriage yet. But I get asked (about marriage) a lot. I guess since we've been dating for a while but no plans yet. I'll announce it when the time comes."
Gummy and Jo Jung Suk revealed to be dating in February 2015. The actor also shared thoughts on having a relationship publicly and named the negatives. He said, "It's unfortunate how I portray my thoughts in (interview) times like this and the articles that go out are only focused on my love life."
