INFINITE opened up about Hoya's departure from the group.
On January 8, INFINITE held a comeback showcase for their 3rd album 'TOP SEED'at Blue Square IMarket Hall in Seoul.
This is the group's first comeback since Hoya's departure in August 2017. Regarding his leave from the group, Dongwoo commented, "Life is a continuation of decision making. If you choose one, you have to give up another. We all respect Hoya's decision. But after hearing the news, I cried for an hour at Sunggyu hyung's home. I cried while talking with Hoya on the phone. Sunggyu hyung was there to cheer me up."
