Park Si Hoo went on hiatus from his promotions in Korea following sexual assault accusations, which were eventually dropped by the alleged victim. The January 22nd episode of Channel A's 'Rumor Has It' reported, "In 2013, entertainment trainee A sued Park Si Hoo for alleged sexual assault. Park Si Hoo stated it was true he drank with A, but he used no force against her. He went on to counter sue A."
However, text messages between A and a friend revealed their plans to accuse Park Si Hoo of sexual assault. Despite the fact that all charges against him were dropped, the actor went on to receive tremendous backlash as he was at the height of his popularity due to the hit SBS drama 'Cheongdam-dong Alice'.
According to a reporter on 'Rumor Has it', "Park Si Hoo sustained a lot of backlash... Before his trial, his advertisements were canceled, so he suffered financially as well. At the time, Park Si Hoo was incredibly hurt. It was a period when he couldn't tell who was really on his side and who were really his friends. He said that he was able to completely organize his acquaintances at the time."
Park Si Hoo most recently starred in the KBS drama 'My Golden Life'.
