Girls' Generation's Taeyeon dedicated a message to the late SHINee member Jonghyun at her Christmas concert, 'Taeyeon Special Live - The Magic of Christmas Time'.

Before the official start of Taeyeon's concert on December 22 at Kyung Hee University in Seoul, she sent a special message to Jonghyun through the stage screen. Taeyeon said, "To my precious Jonghyun, who I wanted to embrace and pat on the back at least once more because we're so similar. The reality that we won't be able to see each other anymore makes me sad, and my heart is stunned."
She continued, "I hope you all remember Jonghyun and his music, and I'll sing so that Jonghyun could hear my voice and not be lonely. I'd be thankful if we could give support together."
As previously reported, Jonghyun took his own life on December 18.
