KBS2's '1 Night 2 Days', returning to regular broadcasts this Sunday, will be kicking off its 10th anniversary special episode series this weekend.
After the ongoing mass general strike at KBS, select PDs of variety shows and dramas have decided to return to their work to ensure that once the labor union members achieve their strike goals, broadcasting will resume normally as quickly as possible.
On the upcoming episode of '1 Night 2 Days' this coming December 31, the cast members will carry out their thank you missions mentioned during the '10th anniversary awards' episode. Kim Jun Ho, Cha Tae Hyun, and Yoon Si Yoon will be visiting some of '1 Night 2 Days's most memorable guests, while Jung Joon Young will be visiting the grandmothers at Kimjae. Furthermore, the cast members will be going off on their second ever overseas trip on this episode, to greet and thank international viewers for their 10th anniversary.
The '1 Night 2 Days' staff told news outlets, "We are beginning our 10th anniversary special series on the last day of 2017, a year which was full of ups and downs." The staff continued, "We would like to sincerely thank our viewers for watching '1 Night 2 Days' all these years. We ask for you continued love and attention, so that our program can do a better job of bringing families joy and laughter during the weekends."
