Despite his first ever sub-lead acting role, Jun received praise for his natural acting and his likable character Lee Soo Gyeom, working with veteran actresses Lee Yo Won, Ra Mi Ran, Myung Se Bin, and more. 

Jun said, "It's not sinking in yet that 'Avengers Social Club' just has one more final episode left, when I can still feel my nervousness and my anticipating during my first audition for the drama, and my first filming. I feel that I was able to receive so much love thanks to everyone who helped me and encouraged me for my first acting role, and that is why I was able to reach the end. I've lived as Soo Gyeom during the duration of filming, and will cherish the character Lee Soo Gyeom as an unforgettable memory and a great gift. I would sincerely like to thank each of the sunbae-nims and the staff of 'Avengers Social Club', and most importantly, the viewers who loved the 'Avengers Social Club', for all the love. I will work hard and show an improved version of actor Lee Jun Young (Jun's real name), for certain. Thank you!"
