According to an exclusive report on November 22, BTS recently took part in a pre-recorded performance for the famous New Year's Eve celebration broadcast during their stay in Los Angeles, U.S.A. The recording was carried out under strict surveillance, with no information on what kind of performance the group put together. 

Shortly after the report, a representative from Big Hit Entertainment stepped up to confirm, "It's true that they recorded for 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2018'."
