SHINee's Taemin revealed he auditioned to be a trainee at SM Entertainment to avoid more school.
On the October 19th broadcast of SBS Power FM's 'Cultwo Show', Taemin expressed his feelings on being a mentor on KBS' idol rebooting project program 'The Unit'. He said humbly, "I'm still lacking in a lot of things, but I'm thankful that I can stand as a mentor."
Taemin expressed of the idol stars getting a second chance on the show, "They've all debuted with modest hearts, but I want to be of help in making the limelight shine on them."
He also revealed his own motivation for auditioning for SM Entertainment, saying, "I joined the agency in 6th grade when I was 13 years old. I didn't want to go to an after-school academy. To be honest, I really hated attending an after-school academy." Wouldn't you say he made the right decision?
