Bangtan Chungneyondan (Bulletproof Youth Group) - short for 'Bangmi Trump Tanhaek Chungnyeon Wonjungdan - is a group of chungnyeon or young adults who are protesting for the impeachment of American President Donald Trump after being denied entrance into the United States. In English, the organization is named BTC, which is short for 'Ban Trump's Crazy action'.

As you probably already noticed, the name of the anti-Trump organization sounds very similar to BTS or Bangtan Sonyeondan. The boy group has absolutely no relations to the issue, however, they're linked to the search whenever someone types 'Bangtan Chungnyeondan' online. 

ARMYs are concerned that the anti-Trump organization might damage the image of BTS. Many are also expressing anger, commenting, "There are some people who're criticizing BTS after misreading headlines... Big Hit needs to take legal action", "Omg they need to be sued", "BTC is using BTS to announce their name!"

In response to uproaring criticism from BTS fans, BTC apologized via Twitter on October 26. The organization stated, "We apologize for causing confusion by using the similar name as BTS. We are aware of our wrongdoings and we sincerely apologize to the fans. From now on, we promise to go by the full name of Bangmi Trump Tanhaek Chungnyeon Wonjungdan instead of Bangtan Chungnyeondan."
