On September 19, Plum Entertainment stated, "Siwan will be serving as an assistant instructor in Gyeonggi's Yangju City 25th division basic army training center."
Prior to this, the singer/actor entered the training facility back on July 11 where he excelled during his basic training and advanced to an assistant instructor level.
The ZE:A member will be assisting in disciplining and training new recruits.
Other stars, such as Chun Jun Myung, Hyun Bin, Kwon Sang Woo, Lee Si Eon, Joo Won, Wheesung, Rain, and Lee Tae Gon also previously served as assistant instructors.
Hearing the news, netizens commented, "He is the true definition of perfection," "He seems to be diligent in all his works," praising Siwan for his accomplishments.
Siwan is scheduled to be discharged on April 10, 2019.
