The drama is set inside a fictional label, where a producer starts feeling doubtful about making stars after producing several popular idols. The story starts when the producer comes back after a hiatus and starts to produce a co-ed group from the trainees that the labels have given up on.

Kim Hee Jungand Hwang Seung Unhave been cast as the lead. Akdong Musician's Suhyunand JBJ's Kwon Hyun Binhave also been cast as members of the same idol group.
The drama will be called 'Temporary Idols', and the staff have reported that another unpredictable character will be joining the group. The drama will have ten, 15-minute episodes and air online in mid-November.
