MBC recently responded to reports regarding Wanna One's appearance on the newest installment of 'Idol Star Athletics Championship'.
A representative at MBC stated, "'Wanna One has not been officially confirmed to appear on the program. They are currently looking into it."
On August 17, one media outlet claimed that the rising idol group had been scheduled for the show. Meanwhile, the Chuseok special will begin filming in early September.
