MBC recently responded to reports regarding Wanna One's appearance on the newest installment of 'Idol Star Athletics Championship'.
A representative at MBC stated, "'Wanna One has not been officially confirmed to appear on the program. They are currently looking into it."
On August 17,�one�media�outlet claimed that the rising idol group had been scheduled for the show. Meanwhile, the Chuseok special will begin filming in early September.�
