On August 10, THE Recording Industry Association of Japan stated that TWICE's debut album '#TWICE' has sold over 250,000 copies and therefore, has been certified as a platinum record. This is just shortly after the girl group surpassed the 100,000 mark which is considered as a Gold.

With their album continuously rising and showing no signs of slowing down even after over a month since its release, TWICE continues to garner more attention and popularity in Japan.
