Sunmi says she recorded title track 'Gashina' six times + keeps in touch with former Wonder Girls members

Singer Sunmi revealed that she recorded her latest track "Gashina" a total of six times in order to achieve perfection.


On August 22, Sunmi held a comeback showcase that was broadcasted through�Naver 'V' Live.�During the interview portion, she explained, "My new song was released today. I was really worried about the results but I'm glad everyone seems to be enjoying the song. The reactions are totally lit right now. I would like to thank everyone who supported me despite the long hiatus."

Sunmi mentioned, "I started preparing for the album back in March. There were a lot of hardships and difficulty surrounding 'Gashina'. I recorded the song so many times. I think I recorded about six times, which took quite a while. �With that being said, I am satisfied how it turned out."


The former Wonder Girls member also shared how her former group mates showed support. �"All the (Wonder Girls) members contacted me saying they are rooting for me. �Yubin unnie�said she was glad to see me do what I love. I also showed Sohee a part of the dance choreography and she said 'it was so cool'. Sohee is objective and she tends to be quiet but she didn't hold back her praise."


Sunmi also added, "I also got in touch with producer J.Y. Park and he asked me how my album preparations were going."
