The pair had a photoshoot with '@star1's August issue. During the interview, the boys were asked what they'd been up to since the end of 'Produce 101' season 2. Ren said, "I spent the days thinking about our fans. I realized once again that we were able to make it here because of our fans."
JR said, "Because of all the love and interest from our fans, we spent our days after the show happily. We're working hard to give back that love."
When asked about their success after 'Produce 101', JR said, "To be honest, it all feels unreal. The situation right now, and our old songs climbing back on charts all feel like a dream." Ren said, "I hope not just our members, but also our fans walk the flower road with us. We'll work hard."
As the boys recently landed their first cosmetics endorsement, they were also asked what else they'd like to be models of. JR said, "We're happy to be filming our first endorsement. What about a CF for a beverage? I like beverages, so I think I'd be happy every time I drink something if I become a model." Ren added, "It was our first filming as endorsement models, so the corners of my lips were shaking. I like clothes, so I want to be a model for a fashion brand. Or since I'm an adult, I also want to try an alcoholic drink."
