With two weeks left until its official launch in theaters, a new dramatic art poster of 'Battleship Island' was unveiled.
The black and white poster portrays each character's current emotional state as they endure hardships on the prison-like island in 1945 during World War II, under Japanese colonial rule.
Actor Hwang Jung Min, playing the role of Lee Kang Ok, can be seen with his daughter Sohee. So Ji Sub demonstrated his fierce charisma sporting various cuts and bruises on his face as Choi Chil Sung.
Song Joong Ki also makes an intense expression with a short hair cut, ready to lead the Joseon people out of the hell hole as Park Moo Young. Actress Lee Jung Hyun illustrated a desperate, uncertain appearance, taking on the role of a strong comfort woman Mal Nyeon.
The new blockbuster film is set to move many hearts on July 26.
