EXO's 'Growl' is popular in North Korea and used as a confession song

On the upcoming episode of Channel A's 'I'll Meet You Now', a North Korean defector revealed EXO's popularity even in North Korea.

While filming for the episode, the panel and the guests discussed the hallyu movement and how it is even affecting North Korea. A female North Korean who defected only three months ago said, "EXO is really popular in North Korea as well. Amongst teenagers, EXO's 'Growl' is often used as a confession song where a boy expresses how much he likes a girl." In addition to this, she covered the song "Growl" with an accordion during the episode.

It looks like EXO continues to grow their name even in tough places.

The episode is scheduled to air on July 30 at 11 p.m. KST.
