9 horrible cases of Sasaengs harming K-Pop idols

1. Installing hidden cameras

Installing hidden cameras is no easy feat, but sasaeng fans have done it! Poor idols such as JYJ's Yoochun and former EXO member Tao had hidden cameras and microphones installed in their parking garages, hotel rooms, and outside their dorms.

2. Car Accidents

Car accidents are nothing new to hear about because it seems to be the most common mishap involving sasaeng fans. Fans often chase the idols in taxis or their own cars. Idols such as Big Bang's Seungri, Super Junior's Heechul and Leeteuk were involved in car accidents due to sasaengs.

3. Kidnapping

As scary as it may sound, kidnapping is no far stretch for a sasaeng. A young actress named Kim Yoo Jung revealed that a man once came to her school pretending to be her uncle when she was a kid. Another account was from previous member Jessica of Girls' Generation stating a man tried following her home then breaking into her home before she could lock her front door. There was even a moment where one fan purchased the same black company van as EXO and tried luring them in. Also, who could forget the crazy man who ran on stage to kidnap Girls' Generation's Taeyeon mid-performance?

4. Hacking

Hacking is another way of delving into idols' personal lives. K-Pop stars such as Super Junior's Siwon and f(x)'s Amber have been victims of online account and SNS hacking. One fan actually hacked Super Junior Eunhyuk's Twitter and posted indecent pictures.

5. Hitting

You would think sasaeng fans wouldn't hurt the one they love, but you'd be wrong. Poor JYJ's Yoochun was actually slapped in the face so he could "remember" the girl and she could "stand out from all the other fans." There was also a situation where a fan pulled T-ara's Jiyeon's hair before entering a van.

6. Hidden Disguises

This hidden disguise is no simple tape-on mustache, these Chinese female fans actually shaved their heads to look like males and snuck into the men's bathroom in order to confront EXO and demand an autograph.

7. Hiding in their homes

While setting up CCTV cameras, these sasaeng fans took the time to break in and even hide in idols' homes. CNBLUE, EXO, JYJ and Super Junior were just one of many idols to have their privacy invaded. Fans stole personal belongings and left dirtier things behind. G-Dragon often caught sasaengs outside his house and later posted on his personal accounts to " please stop, you're scaring my mother and sister."

8. Cutting Themselves & Using Blood

Disturbingly enough, fans have cut themselves and used blood as a method of gaining the attention of their idols. Before EXO's "Overdose" release, one fan posted a photo of her carving "I Love EXO" into her skin. The huge slashes are quite perturbing. One girl even sent 2PM's Taecyeon a love letter saying he "can't live without me" and had it written in her menstrual blood. She later apologized saying, "I am not a sasaeng fan."

9. Will Die For You Threats

Shockingly enough, it isn't the idols who are being threatened by death threats! One fan of Big Bang's G-Dragon stated she would kill herself and asked why he wouldn't love and recognize her? She left drips of her blood on the paper.
