The upcoming film 'Real' has been given a mature rating.
'Real' stars Kim Soo Hyun, Sulli, Sung Dong Il, and Lee Sung Min, and there's been a lot of hype surrounding the movie. On June 21, a source from the production team revealed the mature rating was due to depictions of "sexual activity between a man and woman, full nudity, murder by knife stabbing, drug production, and use of narcotics." It was further explained scenes involving crime and the overall dialogue could negatively influence younger audiences.
The movie has already garnered attention due to explicit scenes involving Sulli, but it looks like viewers should be prepared for much more. 'Real' tells the story of a cold and ambitious man involved in the criminal underworld who dreams of building a casino hotel. It's scheduled to release on June 26 KST.

Actually, with the movie being given a 19+ rating, it looks like people that are below the Korean legal age of nineteen years old won't be able to see all the explicit sex, nudity and especially all the crime and violence at all. So yeah, they really do have to sit this one out.

It's a Korean gangster movie, one of my favorite genres. Good. Korea produces enough pablum for kids. Adults want to see movies with adult themes.
