On June 30 at approximately 10:30 AM KST, KBS-2TV received a call with the message, "[I] have installed a bomb at 'Music Bank', where A Pink will be."

At the time, artists who were scheduled to record 'Music Bank' this day were filing in, with fans waiting for their artists outside the building. After the threatening call, a squad from Seoul's Metropolitan Police showed up to the KBS building immediately and evacuated an estimated 150 fans.

The police are currently searching the site alongside a bomb disposal unit, with police lines installed outside the 'Music Bank' building. They told news outlets, "After confirming to see if a bomb has been planted on the site or not, if we do not find any evidence of the threat, we plan on seeking out the caller's location."

Dispatch has posted photos taken on the 'Music Bank' rehearsal site. Previously, an alleged fan threatened to plant bombs during A Pink's comeback showcase.

I wonder what the consequences are for such behavior in Korea. It's a crime in the US, but I wonder if it is in Korea and if it is, how severe the punishment is (I'm guessing weak).

Kbloom Friday, June 30, 2017

let's find the fucker and save apink

pink_oracle Kbloom Saturday, July 1, 2017

4Chan would have him out of action in 24 hours.

Kbloom pink_oracle Saturday, July 1, 2017

pink_oracle Friday, June 30, 2017

When you've forgotten that music is supposed to be fun.

myanaconda Friday, June 30, 2017

Plan A stop media playing like this fucker

PinkPandazz myanaconda Sunday, July 2, 2017

no. just no.

intricate Friday, June 30, 2017

they've already established those threats are fake even before they happened.. why all the fuss? just focus on finding the source.

SNSDQUEENT_ARA intricate Friday, June 30, 2017

And if its real? ...Bombs are arent a joke

intricate SNSDQUEENT_ARA Friday, June 30, 2017

but it's not, they have already established that. They know the minute the guy calls in. They even know he can't actually get the bombs in place.

cabbagejuice intricate Friday, June 30, 2017

but you never know when it WILL be real. the boy who cried wolf.. if they dont check every single time and just ignore the threats then there really could be a bomb. the police arent gonna play with peoples lives just because previous threats were fake

SNSDQUEENT_ARA intricate Friday, June 30, 2017

Sorry, but in my country even if a bomb threat is made and considered a joke, it will still be taken seriously. And the police do not know whether or not that guy have any accomplice in Korea. Like i have said, i bomb isnt a joking matter, if it is really true what do you think will happen to the police and netizens?

intricate cabbagejuice Friday, June 30, 2017

they know it's the same guy. They know why he makes the threats. They know how he makes the threats. Now... if this was a completely different person then yes I understand the evacuation, but it's not. It's been established this guy does not pose a threat, but they evacuate anyway.

intricate SNSDQUEENT_ARA Friday, June 30, 2017

the guy is not capable of putting A-Pink in danger. They -know- this. The evacuation itself is more dangerous than the threat. They also -know- this.

SNSDQUEENT_ARA intricate Friday, June 30, 2017

Im not sure how you can be so sure that this guy does not have the ability to put A-pink in danger and you did not seem to understand what i wrote in my previous statement too so bye.

intricate SNSDQUEENT_ARA Friday, June 30, 2017

in your country if somebody calls in a joke bomb threat they don't know that until they have determined there is no bomb by evacuating and investigating the premises. But in this case they know beforehand there is no bomb. That's a very different matter.

pink_oracle intricate Friday, June 30, 2017

KBS can't make that judgement call. Without actually having the equipment to verify where the call came from they cannot take authority to ignore a bomb threat.

intricate pink_oracle Friday, June 30, 2017

fair enough, I was under the impression he had already called them before, which is why they would know it was fake.

pink_oracle intricate Friday, June 30, 2017

They were probably very confident it was the Canadian, but by law they have to take the bomb threat seriously. There are the lives of the public at stake. And think of the lawsuits.

cabbagejuice intricate Friday, June 30, 2017

as previously stated this guy could have an accomplice or obtain one in the future. his behavior is escalating. first he just threatened to kill them, but now hes threatening hundreds of lives by saying he placed a bomb in a MUSIC STATION with plenty of innocent people. even if hes in canada he could probably go to korea at any time. i mean north korea makes plenty of bombing threats but they dont go through with it, that doesnt mean north korea is never gonna bomb another country. they are still dangerous

unscrewedhorses Friday, June 30, 2017

For those who are wondering why they haven't stopped the guy yet, if it is the same guy all three times, they've mentioned previously that he's in Canada.  I don't know the process for how you go about arresting someone in a different country for making threatening phone calls, but I imagine it's somewhat complicated and time-consuming.  They have to confirm his identity, confirm his location, get the Korean police and Canadian police to work together, get the Canadians to actually arrest him, etc.  I don't really know how long that stuff takes, but I wouldn't be surprised if it takes weeks or more.

thesiiiiickest unscrewedhorses Friday, June 30, 2017

Oh wow he's Canadian?? Ugh he's probably some 15 year old boy that thinks he's being funny... I'm glad the Koreans are taking the threat seriously and being cautious though, I hope he gets in trouble and this shows all the other kids out there that threats are not a joke

intricate thesiiiiickest Friday, June 30, 2017

apparently it's some older guy actually. he was disappointed about something (don't remember what) and started making those threats. He also said he wasn't going to "kill" them so he's really just trying to scare them. Anyway, this matter shouldn't take too long I imagine. If the Korean police provides all the necessary information to Canadian police I'm sure they can get him by next week.

unscrewedhorses intricate Friday, June 30, 2017

Apparently the APink members were on some show where they went on fake blind date with male actor trainees? That's why he said he was mad. 1) That they went on fake dates, and 2) that the dates were with TRAINEES, not even real actors.

intricate unscrewedhorses Friday, June 30, 2017

ah yeah i think you're right.

thesiiiiickest intricate Saturday, July 1, 2017

Whatttttt YIKES that guy has some serious issues then...

B2UTYCARAT Friday, June 30, 2017

im not only pity on A Pink who will never feel relieved during this time promotion but pity on the other artist who having a promotion along with A Pink and A LOT OF FANS inside and outside the studio. they coming to the studio with a a good intentions to cheer up all their idols. hopefully the guy can be arrested immediately

mhh51910 B2UTYCARAT Friday, June 30, 2017

I get paid over $90 per hour working from home with 2 kids at home. I never thought I'd be able to do it but my best friend earns over 10k a month doing this and she convinced me to try. The potential with this is endless. Heres what I've been doing, ------------>WWW.joinmate2.COM

propanda Friday, June 30, 2017

Seriously, why is it so hard to catch this guy. He can just keep doing this with every thing Apink is attending. The guy is clearly dangerous, you often hear from jpop cases where jpop idols were almost stabbed by "fan" in fanmeeting or something like that, I think there has been some idols that have been murdered as well though that's very rare. It often start like this, guy getting all obsessed, stalkery and writing threatening posts etc.

unscrewedhorses propanda Friday, June 30, 2017

They've said previously that the guy is in Canada, which I imagine makes it trickier and more time-consuming to arrest him.

Vivianlsv propanda Friday, June 30, 2017

are you talking about the case of Mayu Tomita where the jpop idol was stabbed more than 10 times ? it really is scar, this guy threaten not only 1 of the guy but a whole group members and the fans

propanda Vivianlsv Friday, June 30, 2017

Yea that was probably it. I didn't follow the case closely, but read about it. It's pretty creepy stuff what some "fans" can do so kpop shouldn't take sasaengs and other creepy fans lightly either.

robin1 Friday, June 30, 2017

You can't even find the person that keeps doing this. tsk tsk....

crowboy Friday, June 30, 2017

Seriously some people don't think even an inch beyond themselves. Because these emergency workers are dispatched to this location because of essentially a joke, what about people who actually need help? srs
