On June 29, posts claiming that Lee Chae Young used to be a bully in school were shared on various online communities. The writer claimed that she used to go to the same middle school as Lee Chae Young and revealed several threatening text messages exchanged with the trainee.

Regarding the issue, a rep from 'Idol School' stated, "We're currently checking the validity of the rumors. One person's future is depending on the issue. We need to be cautious. We'll deliver our official statement soon."
Netizens are demanding Lee Chae Young's departure from the show if the rumors turn out to be true.
Meanwhile, the first episode of 'Idol School' is scheduled to air on July 13.
