On June 9, DreamT Entertainment stated, "Sojin has been cast to play the female protagonist Yeon Hee in new web drama 'Humanitarian Supermarket.'"
'Humanitarian Supermarket' takes place inside a mysterious supermarket, questioning issues pertaining to society and humanity as a whole.
Sojin's character Yeon Hee is a top honors student who disguises her true self, working at a small business firm.
The Girl's Day member commented, "I am really happy to take part in this drama and am looking forward to it. Since it is my first time acting in a leading role, I feel like it will be a good opportunity for me to learn and grow."

Meanwhile, 'Humanitarian Supermarket' is set to launch via Naver's 'TV Cast' in mid-July.
