Brand New Music will likely be taking legal actions against those spreading photos of a nude male, claiming that the male is 'Produce 101' season 2's Lee Dae Hwi (17).

On June 23, photos of a nude male lying on a bed caused a stir online, with debates arising as to whether or not the male in the photos was Lee Dae Hwi or not. Brand New Music has stated in regard to the photos, "It is absolutely not true that Lee Dae Hwi's nude photos have been exposed online. We are currently discussing taking legal actions."

The label further added, "After looking into the matter, we've discovered that the male in the photo is a Chinese individual with similar facial features to Lee Dae Hwi."

Many are criticizing online users who seem to be targeting the young trainees from the recently ended program 'Produce 101' season 2 with malicious and inappropriate claims and rumors.

I'm not sure what the laws are, but isn't this considered cp which means the person trying to pass this as Daehwi could not only go to prison but register as a sex offender? Are there even sex offender lists in Korea?

He's a 16 year old kid what has he done to deserve this? It's actually really gross that anyone would do this to anyone let alone a child they don't even know. This has gotta be some form of sexual harassment? Why try so hard to make someone feel like shit? What is that person getting out of this? Is there life gonna be so much better after spreading false shit about a child? I'm literally fuming right now.

Don't even try to tell me now that female idols and trainees have it harder than males. This season 2 with the boys has been a cesspool of ridiculous online "scandals". This is a clear case of "we can't have nice things" because Korean netizens are crazy. Obviously so many of these people's lives are filled with nothing but disappointment and drudgery that their only outlet is being cruel and creating drama. In my opinion what makes it worse is that their "culture" of rigid social policing makes it all possible. It exploits the worst aspects of how their society operates.
