Girl group PRISTIN held a mini fan meeting after their 'Show! Music Core' performance on April 8.

The girls held a special fan meeting near a park where they were greeted by numerous fans to congratulate PRISTIN's debut. A total of 350 people gathered around the stage cheering for the group.

Waving purple and white flags, PRISTIN members played a game with their fans as well as holding a Q&A session at this outdoor event.

im sorry, but how do you get fans before you've even released music? this is what's wrong with the korean music scene these days. Groups get fans due to their label affiliation or just having good visuals. People dont care about the music anymore :(

I don't see why you're picking on PRISTIN. Your argument might make sense if they were from one of the Big 3: SM, YG, or JYP where the groups are famous as soon as a debut is announced. But, PRISTIN is from Pledis and have debuted. And, even before that, they did a lot of work during their pre-debut time to release covers and create buzz in order to build a fan base. While I wasn't a fan of their debut song, I like them because of the potential I saw in their pre-debut videos.

Because you operate under the false delusion that pop music is some kind of serious music genre. Pristin at least composes and writes their own music which actually puts them at a higher level than most pop stars.

Lol 1. They released their music since March 21. So you're quite late to the party. 2. Pristin was constantly putting out concerts before their debut, they showcased a lot of their talents through those concerts, produce 101 [7 out of 10 memers], and Girls' Spirit[ only for Sungyeon ]. Their pre-debut exposure already gained them tons 3. They also released songs BEFORE THEIR debut EX : WE. They also composed/wrote 3 other songs along WE predebut: which is Running[In the album], Rollercoaster[concert only], and Always Promise[concert only]. Yeah sure i agree that people should love a group for their music and not just visuals, etc. I personally love their pre-debut released songs and their b-side tracks. However, talents also gain fans and that's what Pristin have.. Like hello? Have you not heard Sungyeon and her god-given voice+high notes? Tbh everyone of them can hold their own in terms of singing. Some of the members can choreograph [EX: NAYOUNG choreoraphed for produce 101 Say My Name choreo. Some members are able to compose/rearrange music, etc. They are one of the rare self-producing girlgroup that makes them unique than your typical girlgroup. All in all, it's obvious you don't know anything about Pristin which I don't blame you for but I hope you understand why Pristin are loved by their fans and have been gaining more as they continue to promote.
