The drama came under fire for using Jessica's Korean name as deceased and listing Krystal's Korean name on the guest list of a funeral home.

However, on April 25, a rep of 'Strong Family' stated to Sports DongA that they did not intend to target the celebrity sisters. The rep said, "It's nonsense to say that we tried to target Jessica and Krystal. Jung Soo Yeon and Jung Soo Jung were coincidentally used. We have not thought of it that way at all and didn't think it will lead to a controversy. Throwing shade at Jessica and Krystal is nonsense."

Despite their denial, netizens continue to believe that the name usage was not a coincidence and the sisters deserve an apology.

Why didn't people realised that Tiffany's Korean name (Hwang Mi Young) is actually used as a deceased in Goblin? 🤔

Not the same. If it was just Jessica's name listed as deceased no one would have cared, but the fact that this dead character that is named like Jessica has a younger sister that is named like Krystal screams shade. What are the chances?

LOL 3MUCH a coincidence

it is possible that it was a coincidence considering Sooyeon and Soojung are extremely common names in Korea.. but at the same time... the Jung sisters are also extremely famous.. Either the person who wrote the names down really doesn't like the sisters and the representative of the show is just saying that so they won't get more hate OR really did make a mistake and accidentally used their names because he/she has heard it so many times in the media but didn't think about who's names they were (bc Jessica rarely ever goes by SooYeon) But yeahhh

I was thinking maybe an intern who hates the company did that on purpose without telling anyone and then OOPS IT WENT ON AIR
