Kim Hyun Joong has found himself in another controversy.

SEE ALSO: Kim Hyun Joong revealed to be planning for a comeback this winter

According to reports, a driver called the police in the early morning of March 26 after discovering a vehicle in front of him wasn't moving. It's reported Kim Hyun Joong was found asleep at the wheel with a blood alcohol level of 0.075%, which would result in an immediate license suspension.

On March 30, KeyEast Entertainment stated, "In the early morning of the 26th, Kim Hyun Joong had a drink with acquaintances around the area, and he received a request to move his car to another spot, which is why he was driving."

The agency added that Kim Hyun Joong had been lacking sleep due to concert preparations, and he hadn't been driving further than ~1094 yards (1km). KeyEast Entertainment further stated, "Whatever the reason, Kim Hyun Joong's license has been suspended due to drunk driving, and he's currently reflecting on himself. He will not let this sort of thing happen in the future."

In other news, Kim Hyung Joong was discharged from the military this past February.

Stress can make you do really stupid things like this so yea stay healthy guys

Longan_Lychee Sunday, April 2, 2017

I want to make one thing clear. Butt sex can be really pleasurable, so me advising fangirls to get some is actually me being friendly and gracious to them. Why do you call me hater then :(

heeheehe Sunday, April 2, 2017

He is a mess.

JustaPerson Saturday, April 1, 2017

I don't approve of drunk driving (even though this technically isn't even drunk driving, more like getting in your car and then pass out drunk), even though I like him as a celebrity, he did indeed break the law.

teleri JustaPerson Tuesday, April 4, 2017

He was not drunk, he was slightly over the legal SK limit. He passed out cause he drank when he was sleep-deprived. He never should have gotten in that car for sure - he was not in any condition to drive! People in general need to remember that being impaired doesn't mean you are drunk all the time - a few drinks impairs your driving, being sleepy, some medications also do that. Too many accidents from people who don't pay attention to such things :(

teleri Wednesday, April 5, 2017

Who's the idiot who downvoted me here? People really need to be aware that just because they only had a 'couple drinks' that doesn't mean it's safe to drive! Especially if they are tired or on medication! Don't you agree ?

JustaPerson teleri Thursday, April 6, 2017

Yes, but I mean, it is the law, and it's there to keep people safe. Luckily no one is hurt. And there's a new article about this, and it appears he was driving under the influence (more than 1 km unlike K.E said).. :\

teleri JustaPerson Friday, April 7, 2017

Yes, so? He was driving under the influence, should not have been, admitted it & got fined! My comment refers to the fact - FACT - that he wasn't DRUNK (just over the limit - there's a difference) & passed out not from being drunk but from being excessively exhausted & then having a couple drinks (enough to put his blood alcohol over the limit but not to get drunk) This is rather important for OTHER people to understand - that no one should drink & then drive, no matter. Also that there are other reasons that make one's driving impaired, so just because you haven't had much to drink, or for that matter anything at all, does NOT automatically mean you should get behind the wheel of a car.

TroyGirl Friday, March 31, 2017

As someone who lost my mother to a drunk driver at the age of 8,  I have absolutely no sympathy for this guy anymore. This kind of behaviour ruins peoples lives. How fucking selfish are you??? There are absolutely no excuses. None.

bangeryun94 TroyGirl Saturday, April 1, 2017

I am so very very sorry for your loss.

Maggie TroyGirl Sunday, April 2, 2017

I'm sorry for you loss.

Violet086 Friday, March 31, 2017

Fans of his are sympathizing with him, implying that this is a result of him going through a hard time because his career and image has been damaged due to his ex. Would people be saying the same thing if he hit an innocent bystander or a child? Drunk driving shouldn't be tolerated regardless. Also I do believe that he has the potential to be violent.

SowonderfulBlue Violet086 Friday, March 31, 2017

They're practically justifying his actions. These fans don't even understand an ounce of how severe this is because they want to defend him while disliking anything that's logical in these forums. Losing faith in humanity really.

LiteralGarbage Violet086 Saturday, April 1, 2017

I would never justify this but this is clearly result of these issues in his life and whether he was drunk driving, hit someone, hurting himself, he needs to seek help. Strictly for the purpose of not further hurting himself and/or other people.

Violet086 LiteralGarbage Saturday, April 1, 2017

It's been said that KHJ is a drinker meaning he is known to like alcohol. I kind of doubt this is the first time he's done this. I have a feeling this is the first time he's been caught...

teleri Violet086 Monday, April 3, 2017

You condemn over half the population then. Most of us have at least once in our lives got behind the wheel of a car when we were impaired. No it should NOT happen - but all your outrage is basically because it's KHJ, not because he was slightly over the legal SOUTH KOREAN limit. He wasn't over the limit where I live, BTW. Also, the main problem for KHJ that night was FATIGUE which causes lots of accidents as well. I'd like to think this incident might highlight the dangers of drinking when also exhausted - and to once again give an opportunity to say do NOT drink & drive, or get in a car when you are impaired in ANY way. Violet086, you are just a nasty, lying, insulting piece of work to infer that I, for instance, am justifying driving while impaired. As are you SowonderfulBlue. You both are incapable of reading comprehensively. Also, you have NO IDEA if he or anyone else other than YOURSELF has ever driven while impaired or drunk unless they've been proven to do so. To casually assume they must have been is committing libel, which is a crime in many places.

SowonderfulBlue teleri Friday, April 7, 2017

You are really sad @teleri to be constantly disliking the same post I posted a week ago and you keep coming back just to dislike it. Move on and do something productive with your life.

Violet086 teleri Saturday, April 22, 2017

Excuse Teleri, I find you ridiculous and it was proven that he was driving drunk. Hello? Video cameras? Wake up and smell the coffee and stop sticking up for behavior that is not only wrong but endangering the lives of others. Drunk driving happens but it doesn't make it right. My outrage is at anyone who drives drunk so please stop licking KHJ's ass and why don't you start worshipping other celebrities that don't have a drunk driving conviction or some domestic violence drama with his ex. Lastly, your mentality is the type of mentality that excuses that kind of behavior.

teleri Violet086 Sunday, April 23, 2017

I find YOU ridiculous and obnoxious. BTW, no, it was NOT proven at all that he was driving DRUNK. He was over the LIMIT. There's a big difference there, fool. Those blood level indicators are for impairment - and one can have ONE DRINK and be impaired to an extent (which is why SK blood alcohol limits are so low BTW). He'd had the equivalent of maybe 2 beers tops - NOT drunk, honey! I'm hardly saying he should have got behind the wheel of that car in the first place, a point you totally choose to ignore. Unreal. Oh, & I guess just being ACCUSED, even when said accusations are FALSE, makes it right to hate him, huh? I'm sorry, you are a judgemental, uncritical mass of contradictions, and hatred. I do agree that no one should drive when impaired. Whether impaired due to alcohol, other drugs (legal or not), or exhaustion doesn't matter. Should NOT drive in those situations. But that last statement of mine will undoubtedly be ignored by YOU, won't it? Nasty girl.

Violet086 teleri Sunday, April 23, 2017

Teleri, the only nasty one is you. I as a woman feel disgusted by how you're sticking up for this guy. Regardless of what his alcohol level was he feel asleep at the wheel endangering the lives of others. But that statement will go ignored by you won't it? Fool. LOL. I find you hilarious and just fascinated that you're sticking up for this guy. I'm not even going to bother talking with you.

teleri Violet086 Monday, April 24, 2017

Why no, your statement has never been 'ignored by me' - in fact, you can find pretty much the SAME ONE in my OWN posts (you know, where I say that he NEVER should have been driving? - yeah). You so want to put words in my mouth. Again, YOU are the one hating on me here. BTW just because I agree that he showed bad judgement in this instance & deserved to be fined, hardly means I agree that everyone should just shun him forever. Again, as I've said many times here, in order to NOT be a hypocrite, if you suddenly can't stand KHJ because of this incident then there's a whole long list of other celebrities I'd expect you to drop. If not, well, then it's obviously just hating on KHJ.

Violet086 teleri Friday, April 28, 2017

I was never his fan but I never HATED him. As a public figure and as a human being, I do think he is lacking in many ways. I don't see why he has fans especially after everything he's done and all of the drama. I don't particularly find him talented either.

teleri Violet086 Saturday, April 29, 2017

But your passive aggressive little self doesn't actually, you know, HATE this guy despite the total diss ... LOL LOL LOL

k008 Friday, March 31, 2017

So much money but not enough to hire a designated driver???

uzorai Friday, March 31, 2017

to be honest, some korean celebrities dont learn

Sarah215005 uzorai Friday, March 31, 2017

I think that applies for all people not just korean celebs

uzorai Sarah215005 Friday, March 31, 2017

Do you "all the korean celebrities or everyone one not just celebrities"?

Sarah215005 uzorai Saturday, April 1, 2017

lol I mean that there are just some people who never learns

uzorai Sarah215005 Saturday, April 1, 2017

*winks* ok

Thavasa Friday, March 31, 2017

Not tryna defend him but 0.075% is not even considered drunk driving in my country

Maggie Thavasa Friday, March 31, 2017

In some countries, rape is not considered a crime either, so.

Miawruu Maggie Friday, March 31, 2017

Seriously??😲😲😲 which country???

Thavasa Miawruu Saturday, April 1, 2017

LOL yeah which country. I'm talking bout a developed countries, not rural african tribes.

Lila_Lovves Thavasa Saturday, April 1, 2017

Just happened to see this comment as I was scrolling but how is the first thing you bring up African* rural tribes? Just because a place isn't developed doesn't mean morals aren't established and rules against assault aren't set in stone; also, just because a place is developed doesn't mean that this isn't overlooked. Assault happens everywhere, therefore you saying 'African tribes' isn't really justified nor fair. Good bye~

Wiley Lila_Lovves Sunday, April 2, 2017

Preach! What an ignorant and incredibly stupid comment.

malmalmal Maggie Monday, April 3, 2017

good point and how about honour killing?

SowonderfulBlue Friday, March 31, 2017

Wtf at these fangirls trying to rationalize why he did it. There is no but! He certainly doesn't deserve consistent and everlasting hate/criticism for his past mistakes but saying things like "but considering with his ex-wife", "korea has a drinking culture", etc. is bullshit. I literally cannot believe more than half of the comments here honestly. K-pop fans/fangirls are scary with this mentality honestly. It's like saying oh well, you know, in this state in the US we have gun laws that make it okay to carry them. Okay, so does that make it okay to shoot someone because you can have them? Does it make it okay for someone to drive drunk even though they're depressed or because Korea has a drinking culture even though they're putting, not just THEIR own lives at stake but everyone else's as well?
